First Birth: You are given a car with plenty of fuel. You get to drive it on a sunny day, on an open well signed road with a map to guide you. Second Birth: If you avoided your dharma and were unable to reach your destination in the first birth you still get a car with plenty of fuel. You get to drive it on a sunny day but you don't get a well signed road or a map. Third Birth: If you avoided your dharma the second time around you still get a car, but this time it doesn't work so well and you have to drive in the dark. Fourth Birth: If you avoided your dharma the third time around your car breaks down in the dark, and you have to start walking. At least there is a road and some street lights. Fifth Birth: If you avoided your dharma the fourth time around now it gets bad. You are walking around in the dark, alone with no road and no lights. Sixth Birth: If you avoided your dharma the fifth time around you are walking in the dark with danger all around you and predators ready to attack. Seventh Birth: If you still avoided your dharma, now it is almost impossible to fulfill it anyway without herculean effort, you are alone in the dark with danger all around, plus your physical body is suffering from exhaustion, cold, hunger etc.. Eighth Birth: If you still avoided your dharma, you get attacked by man-eating predators and now you don't even have legs to carry you… you will be crawling along the ground. Ninth Birth: Things get even worse and the moment of truth strikes you ... things will start getting better in successive lives the moment you are sincere and work hard to strive towards your life purpose ... it doesn't really matter if you reach it in one life!
